A206 is the strongest, toughest non-proprietary aluminum alloy processed via casting. Like most high-performance alloys, more care is taken to process properly to achieve high throughput. A206 is easier in sand casting than permanent mold, but to achieve cost targets, the Eck team has successfully developed several permanent mold production programs.
